Chuo-dori (Sendai-shi)
Chuo-dori (according to the center) is a popular name of the roads which reaches from the point of intersection (Ichibancho arcade Omachi open space) with the east Ichibancho Street of 3, Ichibancho, Aoba-ku, Sendai-shi the point of intersection with the authority of station square of ward center 1. All sections are pedestrian precincts and comprise an arcade. Along with around Ichibancho and Sendai Station west exit, it becomes one of the center mall in the Sendai-shi inner city.

In the East-West straight roads spreading out in front of Sendai castle Ote-mon Gate made in the Edo era, the east is connected at Ishinomaki Highway that just continues to Michinoku Kokufu, Tagajo, the Shiogama Port which is an outport of Sendai, the three most beautiful views in Japan, Matsushima, the base Port Ishinomaki Port of the Tohoku Pacific coast marine transportation. History
Like east Ichibancho (current Ichibancho), it was a samurai town in the Edo era, but is a block becoming the center mall now. East Ichibancho was changed by "the town" which was the proof of the merchant town in Sendai, but Nakakecho of "丁" come to remain it.
