オレフォス グラスブリュック (Orrefors Glasbruk, オレフォス glassworks) is glassworks in the オレフォス village of the Sweden スモーランド district.

The company establishment is 1898. Originally I made a windowpane and the practical thing such as the jam container, but the owner of the company changed in 1913 and came to try a switch to a more artistic direction by 1916. For glass decoration and a design, Simon gate and two Swedish painters of Edvard Hald were employed, but there was not the experience that treated glass with two people [1]. ヴィッケ Rind strand and other artists such as Edo Vin A Strom increased later, too. They had individual art-style, but brought about some unique characteristics and new direction jointly. One example is Goulart (Graal) glass. The relief decoration with the color is wrapped in the layer of the crystal having the water-clear, smooth surface.

In 1936, technique called the aerial (Ariel) which shut in air inside of the wall of the glass was devised. The name comes from a drama "tempest" of Shakespeare [2]. They work had a big influence on an are nouveau work of French artist Emile Galle [3]. Their design uses the line of the characteristic, clear brilliant crystal suggesting the liquid which froze. Their work was praised in Paris World Exposition of 1925 by many audiences.

The glassworks became a leading producer in the times between both Great War [4]. In late years even chandelier making came to become known, but the products of some old designs are still produced [1]; [5].
