都鍾煥 (ト Jung Hwan, 도종환, 1954 – ) is a Korean poet, politician. I am from Cheongju (Chonju) of Chungcheongbuk-do. [1]

Brief career history
It is 詠 う poet for lyricism for love and sorrow with the words that are pure with simplicity. And I attracted attention as the poet who showed a will to purity based on historic imagination.
I create the figure of the people living in the times when (1985) was divided to the north and the south in "the co-Demy town" which is the first book of verse. I showed historic imagination of the real rhythm, but show the touching love for the wife whom I lost in "you (1986) of Aoi". This book of verse became the bestseller with the big reaction of readers. I did an experience when it was imprisoned dismissal by the activity of all teacher associations in poetry while (1989) was in office as a teacher in books of verse such as (1993) even if "far by you now" "who are you?".
After the 2000s, I explore the world of the new settlement and harmony based on human ontology-like 省察 through 観照 for nature in "root (2002) of the sorrow", "way to sea mark" (2006).
I run as candidate proportional representation (the list order 16th) in the 19th general election held in April, 2012 from the democracy unification party (existing new politics democratic coalition) and have been elected. I belong to sightseeing in education culture physical education Committee and officer right improvement and the military service culture innovation special committee in the Diet and am active [2].
I changed and, in the 20th general election held in April, 2016, ran for the area ward (Cheongju City interest virtue ward) from proportion and achieved election [3].
