The planned Okinawa Monorail Line (Yui rail) station where てだこ 浦西駅 (てだこうらにしえき) [¹] starts a business in Maeda, Urasoe-shi, Okinawa. With the opening to traffic between our Shuri Station - station of the spring of 2019, it is going to be installed near Nishihara entrance intersection.

An open call for participants determined the station name with 3 other stations [²]. It is a word to be related to a title of God "British father day child" (えそのてだこ) of 英祖王 of the Ryukyu kingdom said to that "てだこ" of the station name was born in the meaning called "a solar child" in a dialect of Okinawa in current Urasoe [³]. A tentative name called 浦西駅 (I can make the back and come) was attached before station name decision [⁴].
