李光洙 (イ グァンス, from March 5, 1892 to October 25, 1950) is a Korean literary person, thinker. I am said to be "a father of the Korea modern literature". 号 "in spring garden" (チュンウォン, 춘원). The Japanese name at the time of the So changing name Mitsuo Kayama (Kayama, beeswax).

Career
P'yongan-pukto義州府定州郡A native place. I lose parents by cholera at the age of 10 years old. I am chosen in 1905 by a foreign student of 一進会 and, via a Japanese completion high school, begin the writing activity of the novel during Meiji Gakuin attendance at school. After returning home, I start for my new post in five mountain schools. I roam about the Siberia at one time, but I receive World War I of Russian Empire and return home. I study in Japan again and enter Waseda University. I join drafting of "the 2.8 Declaration of Independence" and take refuge in Shanghai and I join the Republic of Korea provisional government establishment and take office as the chief editor of the independent newspaper afterwards. I am arrested, but, after returning home, am released without being prosecuted. I find work to Dong-A-Ilbo afterwards. I take office as the chief editor later. I transfer to Korea daily report later and become the company's vice-president.
I work on the writing of the illuminism-like novel criticizing Confucianism thought and convention from a nationalism-like viewpoint. I placed articles such as "民族的経綸" in Dong-A-Ilbo without remaining in a novel and when there was the cause of the Korean destroying a country in inferior level characteristics of the Korea race, I did it and preached the racial ability training (called the race reformism). On the other hand, I demanded empowerment such as the autonomy from Government General of Korea not independence. This is considered to be the first conversion, and there are a beginning of complete submission to the colony authorities in the back and an evaluation to do.
