Development

WNF-342 was designed for the German navy which required machine parts for the reconnaissance that I could manage by small vessels and U-boat [1].

A normal reciprocating engine drove the both sides of the air compressor which supplied air (be mixed with fuel) to a thrust chamber at the rotor tip through the promotion-type propeller (produces the race to a rudder) of the narrow path, a rotor head and a hollow rotor blade.

Derivation type

As for the V-1 machine of the prototype of the V1/V2's first: model, output 60HP (45kW), the V-two machine were equipped with a product made in Walter micron engine of output 90HP (67kW). Make the first flight in 1943 [2]; with a V4 machine in Zell アム ゼー by the alliance national military 鹵獲 [1].

The prototype of the second model to have the rotor of the large diameter V3. I fall during a test flight.

With コレクティブピッチ control and the cyclic control that are new as for the last body produced V4 was a double seats type [explanation required]. After having test-piloted 25 hours, left 鹵獲 in the United States Armed Forces [3] and you were loaded in a carrier leaper as part of Rusty strategy on July 19, 1945 and were sent to the United States [2].
