William porter (William "Bill" Franklin Porter II, from March 24, 1926 to March 10, 2000) is a former track-and-field athlete of the United States of America. The porter won a gold medal by men's 110 meter hurdles in the London Olympics held in 1948.

Career

After having learned from birth, July, 1944 in the west University of Michigan in Michigan during November, 1945, the William porter did admission studies to Northwestern University.

I won the championship at a 110-meter hurdle race of the association of amateur exercise (AAU) in 1948 during Northwestern University attendance at school, and the porter got a qualification of the London Olympics participation. Was estimated as the hurdler of the world highest grade in those days; similarly American Harrison Dillard [1] has missed the Olympics participation by the hurdle race, but the United States player of three including the porter competes in the race of the final, and monopolize a medal; turned out [2].

After having retired from competition life, the porter worked in an alumni association organization of Northwestern University and opened a sales agency later in California. The porter died in California Irvine in 2000.
