It is the main country path which goes through Mount Sobo, Mount Katamuki with west prefectural road 8 Gokase, Taketa Line and prefectural road 6 Ume Hinokage line of the east, and binds Oita and Miyazaki together. There are waterfall of original buttocks and waterfall of roadside station original buttocks, Obirakozan, young people camping village, waterfall of Jokouji, upper part of a river Valley, Amano Iwato-jinja Shrine along the line.

• - starting point is a move in the new road of 2 traffic lanes with the sidewalk via in front of waterfall of roadside station original buttocks in August, 1999.
• March 18, 2006 - new Akagawa tunnel opening to traffic.
