Jiro Nango
Jiro Nango (なんごうじろう, from December 21, 1876 to March 5, 1951) is a Japanese sailor. The last rank is a rear admiral.

Career
I am from Tokyo. I am born as the eldest son of Shigemitsu Nango. Through House of learning navy preparatory course, I graduate from Naval Academy (the 26th) (1898) in December in 1898 and appoint Second Lieutenant of navy (1900) in January in 1900. I went to the front of Russo-Japanese War as a fourth boat corps coxswain and participated in Sea of Japan sea fight as the 67th coxswain who belonged to the first boat corps more. I take office as a sailor secretary (1905) in December in 1905. I learn as Naval Staff College second student, navy mine school advanced course student and become the "first frost of the year" expulsion captain (1907) in September in 1907 and, after "Kashima" mine head knowledge, I get promotion to navy major (1908) in September in 1908 and take office as the "Joban" mine head. Through an instructor at mine school, I graduated from the Naval Staff College (first grade eight quarters) (1910) in November in 1910.
In December, 1910, I became the "Satsuma" mine head and went to the front of World War I as "Asama" first mate through a sailor instructor. It is promoted (1913) in December in 1913 by a commander. I act as a military officer working under His Imperial Highness Prince Yorihito Higashifushiminomiya (1916) from February in 1916 and am promoted to a captain (1917) in December in 1917.
I take office as the "Kasuga" captain (1919) in February in 1919 and successively hold the "Katori" captain, Naval General Staff adjutant, Naval General Staff entering a service afterward. It was 1,922 years faster to a rear admiral (1922) in December and took office as a Sasebo defense corps commander. It became the pending appointment (1923) in December in 1923 and was admitted into reserve duty (1924) in February in 1924.
Because it was a nephew of Jigoro Kanou who was the founder of the judo head temple of a Buddhist sect [scheme way building], I acted as the second substitute lecturer way director after navy military retirement.
