As for director Mitsunori Miura of the King record, I had intention that I wanted to receive master supply of happi coat which second album "wind street ろまん" [note 1] not to be able to say from the art music publication (URC record) of the origin of production, but it was when I could not hand over the はっぴいえんどはどうしても URC side, and a new idea was taken there saying "you may start it from King if it was solo", and solo album production of Otaki was fixed as the beginning [note 2].

"Six pieces of single designs" were changed to "the solo album design" by various circumstances, and, as for Otaki, in two pieces of singles, album production was started newly first of all afterwards from study and thought, April, 1972 [note 6]. Originally the title of this album was going to become "the omnibus" in the meaning of "the stagecoach", but the album title called "an omnibus" became extinct when six pieces of single designs collapsed, and it was the title of the debut album of Elvis Presley who was the origin of oneself that it was thought there. Because it was simple what's called "ELVIS PRESLEY" [note 7], this first album became "Eiichi Otaki" only for the name, too. But I am called "the first" generally to distinguish it from an artist name.

"WORKSHOP MU!!" dealt with the design of the album, but, according to Yukimasa Okumura, the illustration of a jacket and the record label arranged the illustration of the catalogue in the 1950s of Sears which, by the way, I found such as the garage sale of Tachikawa or Yokota [note 8]. Disheveled hair (2 '17 ")
In music with Otaki work first strings, the arrangement is Yoshino. However, still I did not have you allow for only the last to make 78 rounds, and I was planned at least by a sound such as the SP to do it. いろいろ試行錯誤の結果、吉野から「カセット・プレーヤー(TC-1000B)をピアノの中に入れてマイクで拾えばそれらしい音になる」と言う提案があり、オリジナル・アルバム収録のこのような音になった。 さらに吉野からのアイデアで、モノラルは面白くないからどちらか左右片方にしようとエスカレート。 たまたま大滝が持っていたステレオ・セットの右のスピーカーが故障していたので左チャンネルにミックスされた。 さらに、曲が終わるとテープの消し残りの「あつさのせい」のイントロが始まり、「面白い」ということでそのまま録音していたら、カセット・テープの残量がなくなってオート・シャット・オフ機能が働いて「パチン」と止まる音まで入ってしまった。 この偶然性に着目した大滝はアルバム・カッティングの際、そのカセットが止まる音がレコード盤のエンドの引込み線に入る直前になるようにカッティング・エンジニアに要求した。 そのためエンジニアはラッカー盤を何枚も無駄にしてしまったという。 その後、アメリカで再カッティングを行ったマスターが使われたセカンドプレス盤は、大滝がカッティングに立ち会えなかったこともあり、現地のエンジニアがカセット音の直前でフェードアウトさせたため、カセット音が入っていない。 後に「烏賊酢是! 此乃鯉」と改題されてアルバム『LET'S ONDO AGAIN』でリメイクされたほか、大滝同様エルヴィス・ファンであった西田敏行によってカバーされた。
