Edo Vin Tyr (German: for Edwin Thiel, from June 19, 1913 to July 14, 1944) is a German officer. The last rank is Flight Leutenant.

Career

I am known for World War II as the ace pilot who recorded 300 times of number of the total sorties, number of the total shooting down 76. I belonged to the 52nd battle air wing and the 51st battle air wing during the Great War.

I was shot down in a battle with the Soviet Union on July 14, 1944 and was killed in action.
