Circle of illumination (めいあんきょうかいせん, Terminator) is the line in a daytime side and the interval by the dark night getting the light in a planet. I am defined as a trace of the points of intersection with the tangent line from the sun. Half places becoming bright change by the rotation of planet in itself and the revolution around the fixed star by time during one day. In addition, I have a big influence on the circle of illumination in a season.
In the frame of reference of the rotating planet, circle of illumination is a point of the sunrise and a point of the sunset.
I can obtain information about the surface state of the planet by checking circle of illumination. For example, it means atmospheric existence if a line becomes dim.
