普門院 (ふもんいん) is a temple of the Mt. Koya-san Shingon Buddhism in Asakura-shi, Fukuoka (former Hakimachi, Asakura-gun). A mountain very large as for the mountain. A principal idol is a Kannon with eleven faces.

History

I was informed this temple when opened (Tenbyo era 19 years) for 747 years by the line basis and was other this temple of hemp 氐 良布神社. It was near the Chikugo River formerly, but was moved to the present location afterwards. In addition, it is informed that the sky Sea was in this temple. I am destroyed by fire by flames of war (from 1467 to 1469) in the Onin era year and lose historical records.
