The ハツェリム Air Force Base (Hatzerim Airbase) is an air force base of the Israeli Russian aerospace defense system. The squadron of the Israeli air force sixth air wing (6th Wing, Canaf 6) belongs [¹]. It is located near district in southern Israel, northern part of the ネゲヴ desert, ベエルシェバ suburbs (the west), kibbutz ハツェリム, and Israeli air force Museum, an air force flying school are added. The ICAO is LLHB.

Summary

The ハツェリム Air Force Base was built in the early 1960s and started operation in October, 1966. The built place was the place where the military airport of Palestinian stationing British troops was installed in before. There are four runways in the ハツェリム Air Force Base, and the length becomes 2,750m from 1,830m. The strategy corps of the Israeli air force uses two of them of the south side in an Israeli air force flying school using two runways of the north side. The Israeli air force flying school founds a school near ペタク チクヴァ in 1950 and I moved to テルノフ Air Force Base afterwards, but, with operation of the ハツェリム Air Force Base in 1966, I move to ハツェリム and am active at now this place.

Israeli air force Museum was installed in the site that was next to the ハツェリム base from 1977, and a large number of planes were displayed for the student of the flying school. From 1991, the Israeli air force Museum came to be opened to the public. In addition, acrobatics squadron "IAF Aerosmith batik team "of the Israeli air force consisting of T-6A beefsteak sun II4 machines [²] belongs to the ハツェリム air force base, too.

In 1998, F-15I Lahm who was a new machine introduced into the Israeli air force was deployed in the 69th squadron of the ハツェリム Air Force Base position.
