Life

I am born as Owari country Iwasaki as (1550), the eldest son of Ujikatsu Niwa for astronomy 19 years [2]. I served Nobunaga Oda following the next of father. Father, 氏勝 is covered with perception mind of Nobunaga in (1580) for Tensho era eight years and is ousted, but the influence seemed to be inferior to he next and serves it as a vassal of Nobutada Oda afterward and invades and attacks to Takeda within the territory as a member of 信忠軍団 with Kiso Yoshimasa, Nagamasu Oda and others in the Koshu conquest of (1582) for Tensho era ten years.

After Nobunaga died by Honnoji-Temple Incident, I served second son, Nobuo and gave a military exploit in each place, but it was a vassal of Ieyasu Tokugawa in (1583) for Tensho era 11 years, the following day because I put on the perception mind in conflict with Nobuo [3]. I let younger brother, 氏重 protect Iwasaki Castle by the fight of Komaki, Nagakute of (1584) for Tensho era 12 years and oneself proceeded to Komaki according to Ieyasu and raised military exploit. However, I receive a violent attack of Tsuneoki Ikeda and Nagayoshi Mori then and defeat 氏重 and die (fight of the Iwasaki Castle).

I served Nobuo by an intercession of Ieyasu again and was given 7,000 stones afterwards in the Ise country. However, I entreated Hideyoshi Toyotomi that Nobuo is performed attainting of after the Odawara conquest to serve it with Ieyasu again, but will serve Hidetsugu Toyotomi by a life of Hideyoshi. I let eldest son, 氏資 serve Ieyasu then. He next is vested in the east military by the Battle of Sekigahara of (1600) for Keicho era five years and is ordered the defense hardening of the important base, Iwasaki castle binding Owari, Mikawa together than Ieyasu. In addition, I sent several hundred carriers for construction to strengthen the defense of the Muki castle of Yoritada Tsumagi to prepare for an attack of Iwamura lord of a castle Tadamasa Tamaru (直昌本人 guards Osaka-jo Castle) in favor of west military Mitsunari Ishida by a life of Ieyasu. By the success that participated in a Sekigahara book war, I was given 1 Mangoku in Mikawa country Iho, and it was the first feudal lord afterwards.

I die (1601) on March 19 for Keicho era six years, the following day. Age at death 52 (there is the divergent view with 53, too). The second son, he sincerity inherited a trace.
