AK98 (A Kay 98) is a Chinese idol group for women.

Summary

The idol group which was formed in 24 female college students of chosen Hangzhou in 2010 by an audition. The member approximately 50 is registered as of January, 2012. I develop activity by abbreviation of "Angel" and "Kiss" 98 around Nanjing in "A" and "K" two groups with "AK98" of the name. A plan to increase to 98 people in future. It is said that 林遠欣 of the plan person in charge referred to AKB48 in the case of a setup, but it is said that it is different from AKB48 in a point called the net-centered activity. I tell that 邵雲龍 of the producer wants to go into Japan. However, it is reported that it was dissolved now [¹].
