Origin, person

I participate in summer Koshien of 1957 as catcher, the sixth batter at the age of a second grader in Matsuo, Ueda High School. I made 神津進投手 and the battery of the same period and went into the quarterfinals, but suffered a complete blockade defeat to Hideaki Yamanaka (Hosei University) of the Hiroshima dealer who won the championship in this meeting [¹].

I enter Meiji University after graduation. I win the championship in a league in the Tokyo six University league in spring in 1961. I participate in an all-Japan university baseball championship of the same year, but am defeated by Nippon University in the semifinals. Catcher Yoshinori Tsuji was on one year and was appointed as a first baseman from the good balance. However, I become catcher regular afterwards because the crossroads were absent in the league in a fall in 1962. I serve the captain in 1963, but both players make a confused fight over a contact play in case of the runner returning to base in league 明立 two rounds in a fall and they take the responsibility and are subject to suspension. League 54 games participation in total, 182 at bats of 52 hits, batting average .286, 1 home run, 18 runs batted in.

I join Japanese National Railways Swallows with pitcher Kozo Ishioka of the same period in 1964. There was much participation as the pinch hitter, but was appointed as a first baseman, catcher mainly. It is sudden absence of Yasumitsu Toyoda in 1969 and it is one game, but gets the start as a cleanup. I retire in 1969. I enter the front desk of Yakult and am dismissed from it in 2011.

On July 3, 2013, I die of heart failure [²]. 73 years old death.
