It is founded in Asahikawa-shi in (1947) in 1947. Enao Kato of the founder opens an ice cream shop using the honey and becomes the name of "Hachiya". It is the local well-established shop which assumes soy sauce ramen Maine.

A store is 2 stores of the "Asahikawa head office" "Asahikawa Article 5 establishment of a business shop" in Asahikawa-shi.

I open a store to Shin-Yokohama ramen Museum in (1999) in 1999 and make "graduation" in (2009) in 2009.

In addition, a branch ("Kagurazaka store") was in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, but I close a shop (2011) on February 25 in 2011, and there was a branch in the Asahikawa Station (third generation station building) underground Asahikawa station department store, but closes a shop by the closedown of the department store.

Characteristic

I am characterized by "double soup of animal system and the fishery products system" which is said to be unique "parched flour lard" and the characteristic of the Asahikawa ramen.
