Shinichiro Tokunaga

Shinichiro Tokunaga (とくながしんいちろう, from June 1, 1914 to December 5, 2001) is a history novelist. A former Mainichi Shimbun editorial department advisor. The real name 德永眞一 [1].

Career

I am born in Hanzancho, Ayauta-gun, Kagawa (current Marugame-shi). I graduate from old system Takamatsu Junior High School (existing Kagawa Prefectural Takamatsu Senior High School).

Mainichi Shimbun enters the company in 1940. I successively held the Mainichi Shimbun Tottori Branch Chief, Otsu Branch Chief, student newspaper editing director's post. "The boy three will" that I published serially in the student newspaper editorial department during being on the register roll was filmized by Toei.

I win Eiji Yoshikawa Prize in (1964) in 1964. I retire at 55 years old in (1969) in 1969. I worked as the managing director in Lake Biwa broadcasting station in four years until (1975) in 1975 from (1971) in 1971. I die because of pneumonia in 2001. Age at death 87.

I continued announcing the work which described the historical person on the stage of the age of civil strife and the late Tokugawa period on the stage of Oomi mainly regionally for the times.
