Hopper ship
Hopper ships (English not to perform Hopper: hopper barge) cannot usually run by itself with kind of the lighter and are the ship which was designed to transport a rock, sand, waste, and to pour it into the sea, a river, the lake for landfill.
There is a box-shaped thing that two kinds of form is to the Hopper ship and have sloping Hopper. The thing having sloping Hopper can move faster than a thing of box type Hopper and is designed to use it for transportation of not only the landfill purpose but also the bulk [1].
I am divided into some parts between to the stern by the bow of the Hopper ship. Big Hopper door is attached in the bottom of the hull and comes to open below. When a ship moves, this door is closed to be able to carry the earth and sand to spend. A door is opened if I arrive at the place spending the earth and sand.
The split barge is used for the same purpose, but the whole hull is divided in substitution for a door of the bottom of a ship in lengthwise direction. The ship is comprised of the part of two of the right ship's side and the port side, and both sides are approximately symmetric; is designed. It is had access to a hinge at a deck, and the both sides work in an oil pressure cylinder. When a ship is divided into two, the load is spent rapidly. The ship means that it must be very stable to prevent you from lying on your back, and otherwise this will be injured.
