"金雲翹" The long piece epic which Vietnamese (阮朝) writer Nguyen zoo (阮攸) adapted Chinese novel "金雲翹伝" in (Kim station wagon キエウ, Vietnamese: Kim Vân Kiều / 金雲翹) in the early 19th century and wrote down in チュノム. It is thought with the highest peak of the チュノム literature and is considered to be a work of the Vietnamese literature for the common people.
The original title that an author referred was "heart-ripping episode new idea" (Vietnamese :Đoạn Trường Tân Thanh / 斷腸新聲), but various titles of a book were introduced by plural versions and have been received in the name of "金雲翹" for a long time in Japan. In modern Vietnam, "キエウ biography" (Vietnamese: Truyện Kiều / 傳翹) is the most common name.

Woman chief character ヴオン トゥイ キエウ (Vietnamese: Vương Thúy Kiều / 王翠翹) promises Kim jun (Vietnamese: Kim Trọng / Kanashige) and the acquaintance marriage that are the friend of the younger brother, but misfortune visits the ヴオンs. トゥイ キエウ entrusts the トゥイ station wagon (Vietnamese: Vương Thúy Vân / King green clouds) of the younger sister with marriage with the Kim jun and sells the body to raise money. After having experienced various hardships in the vicissitudes, トゥイ キエウ meets a younger sister and a fiance again after time of 15 years and lives happily.
Establishment and reception
As for this work, Chinese (first light Suekiyo) wit and beauty novel "金雲翹伝" by "blue heart man of talent" (nom de plume) becomes the cause. The Nguyen zoo which it was an official of 阮朝, and was a writer adapted this work and built up 68 (Vietnamese: Thểlục bát / 體六八, verses by the alternation of six sound eight kinds of graces in the voice of Buddha) poetry that were a form peculiar to Vietnam, all 3,254 lines. The title called "金雲翹" took one character from three main characters, ヴオン トゥイ キエウ (王翠翹), トゥイ station wagon (King green clouds), Kim jun (Kanashige) each.
According to history book "Ominami main part series of biographies," it is said that this work was written in (from 1820 the back) after returning home by the Qing dynasty which Nguyen zoo took a turn for as a mission, but there is the opinion which was written in (before 1814) before going to China. As for the first publication, it is thought from 1820 through 1825. Plural different versions are published チュノム, a KWOC stone together afterward, and, as for the title of a book, "斷腸新聲" varies "金雲翹新集" "金雲翹新傳".
Vietnamese slang and this work which incorporated songs and ballads are regarded as the highest peak of the チュノム literature in adaptation and are used for school education now in Vietnam. The name of some characters is often used as an example of the typical person image, and a method to use is known widely so that love tells this work among the young women again. It is Vietnamese literature for the common people both in name and in reality.

History of Japanese translation
Novel work "金雲翹伝" of Chinese that became the origin of adaptation of the Vietnamese epic work was translated into a language of Manchurian, Korean in the early modern times and saw the development of the adaptation work locally. "金雲翹伝" is imported into Japan in the Edo era, and translation "通俗金翹伝" (1763) by 西田維則, adaptation work "manners and customs goldfish biography" (1839) by Bakin Kyokutei are published [1].
