Japanese OSS contributor Prize

With the Japanese OSS contributor Prize (にほんおーえすえすこうけんしゃしょう), it commends a prominent developer playing an active part in the developer who creates the influential development project, and ran it and a global project, a contributor to the OSS spread for the purpose of planning promotion of the open-source software (OSS) development. I am founded in 2005, and Japanese OSS promotion forum and an incorporated administrative agency information processing promotion system host it. From 2009, Japanese OSS prize for encouragement is established and is commended at the same time.

The receiving a prize object is greatly considered to be "the field of OSS development" and "an OSS spread promotion field". But it is not exhibited which field a prize winner was evaluated in.

Field of OSS development

It is an object in the developers who play an active part as creation, the administration of the influential OSS development project and a prominent developer regardless of the country, a foreign territory, and play a central role in OSS project.
