Psittacosis
A person beast common infectious disease occurring because of infection of the Chlamydia psittaci (Chlamydophila psittaci or Chlamydophilia abortus) which is a kind of the chlamydia with the psittacosis (psittacosis, parrot fever). I might be called chlamydia disease and have been ever called ミヤガワネラ disease. Four kinds of infectious diseases in the infectious disease method.

Cause
Birds are natural hosts of the Chlamydia psittaci, and the Homo sapiens is infected by excrement, a pollution feather, the inhalation of the earthly affairs of feces from infection birds. I am misunderstood by a name, but may be infected from anyone other than the birds including the small animal.
Symptom
I show an influenza-like symptom in the Homo sapiens and show respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia or the bronchitis when treatment is delayed. Generally it is asymptomatic in the birds, but it presents cheerful disappearance, inappetence, green mail when it develops and sometimes does 斃死. The swelling of liver and the spleen is weak, and the thickening of a gray matter necrosis nest, an epicardium and the envelope, a thickening of the fibrous exudate are seen pathologically. I cause a miscarriage by the female in a cow for third pregnancy trimester and cause seminal vesicle adenitis by the male. I cause pneumonia, encephalomyelitis, keratoconjunctivitis, joint pain, nephritis, hepatitis, a miscarriage on a horse.
Diagnosis
I inoculate a specimen into growth chicken egg, chicken germen, HeLa cell and, after culture, Giemsa-stain it and make direct light microscopy by fluorescent antibody methods. The specific antibody detection is carried out, too.
Treatment
I use antibiotics with the sensitivity for Chlamydophila psittaci, Chlamydophilia abortus.
Preventive
There is not the vaccine. I avoid the contact close excessively with birds. In addition, I wear a mask at the time of the cleaning of the breeding cage of birds.
