Career

Measure era

I contract with Montreal Expos in 1996. A debut major on June 17, 2000.

I played in Expos, Pirates, the affiliation minor league of each Rockies baseball team from 2002 through 2005, but there was not the participation with the measure.

A measure is promoted again in San Francisco Giants in 2006. It is batting average .289, 2 home runs, ten runs batted in by measure 49 games in total.

Times in Japan

On February 2, 2008, I take a joining an organization test of NPB Chunichi Dragons and pass. Joining an organization was announced formally by the baseball team. I was chosen as the BEIJING OLYMPIC qualifier and was expected as a substitute of Hirokazu Ibata and Masahiro Araki that it was expected that I participated in the final contest (only Araki was really picked).

I play an active part as a pinch hitter and the defense hardening personnel required mainly. But Tatsuro Iwasaki is young and, for a substitute of original Araki, hands over a participation opportunity whether you were assumed disqualification via the forerunner of several games in second basemans by the leaders. However, I acted as the position of the shortstop as a substitute because a well edge got injured right after Araki returned from BEIJING OLYMPIC. I hit the first home run in Japan from Tetsuya Yamaguchi in eight times of the game with Yomiuri Giants of May 10, 2008 (Tokyo Dome). It was off and did the Scouting to the Dominican area with Shigekazu Mori of the head coach mainly in the same year. Remaining is decided formally on December 16.

In 2009 when I became an upbringing coach additional post, there were the relations of the foreign frame, too and invited the start in a farm team. I was from same Dominica and often made advice on the Toni swing which entered it on the middle day in the same year. When a swing in particular boasted, "Japan may defeat a home run more than 30 of them" just after joining an organization, I admonish it, and it is said that I advised it saying "face it in a modest manner if you want to succeed in Japan". There was much starting member participation in designated hitters by the interleague ball.

It is given notice of in off November in the same year by the baseball team that I am not going to update the contract as the player and retires.

Retirement post

I take office as the baseball team staff (as for the title "the upbringing staff") on December 24, the same year [1]. I was in charge of instruction, the advice for the player from Dominica mainly. I am dismissed from the middle day in 2011.

Place tile, person

Maine is an attack by a mobile unit, but can protect the third base, the second, too. A starting member really participates at 3 positions.

Hiromitsu Ochiai of the supervision names the nickname it in "daddies".
