Ritsuzan Shibano (しばのりつざん, Genbun first year (1736) - culture December 1, 4 (December 29, 1807)) is a Confucianism person, a writer of the Edo era. The name is Kunihiko, and the character is 彦輔. I was born in Sanuki country (existing: Kagawa). I am known as one of Three Wise Men of generous politics.

Life
I am born in Sanuki country Miki county Mure-mura (existing: Murechomure, Takamatsu-shi, Kagawa) in (1736) in the Genbun first year. The name of father is 柴野軌逵, and the name of mother is 柴野於澤. I went to the cause of Confucianism person Shizan Goto of the Takamatsu feudal clan in (1748) in the Kanen first year and learned Confucianism. I proceeded to Edo with 中村文輔 in (1753) for age of an emperor three years and learned study in Yushima temple of Confucius.
Shibano who finished the learning of the Yushima temple of Confucius learned study from Takahashi ambitious undertaking mainly on the study of ancient Japanese thought and culture in (1765) for Meiwa two years and came to serve the Tokushima feudal clan as a person of Confucianism in (1767) for Meiwa four years. I will proceed to Edo with Tokushima feudal lord, Shigeki Hachisuka again in (1768) for Meiwa five years.
After having arrived at Edo, I take office as a lecturer in the Imperial Household of the Tokushima feudal clan present head of a household in (1776) for Yasunaga five years. I was called in (1787) for Tenmei era seven years by Edo Shogunate member of the Shogun's Council of Elders Sadanobu Matsudaira, and it was suggested to serve the Shogunate. I served the Shogunate afterward, and an evaluation such as instructing a taboo of the generous politics heretical study with the Reform of the Kansei era increased, and it was the chief executive of the Yushima temple of Confucius in (1790) for generous politics two years.
I wrote the poetry that 蘇軾 gave 王彦若 and considered Mitsui and, for having recovered from a cataract in (1804) in the culture first year, gave pro-(三井光慶) it.
I name "Gembudo" it in (1807) for culture seven years. In the same year, I died on December 1.
