Greenland (amusement park)
Greenland is an amusement park largest in Kyushu in Arao-shi, Kumamoto.
A golf course, a hotel, a hot spring, the shopping mall are added to the very large site of total area 3 million m² other than an amusement park, too and name these generally with Greenland resort. Greenland resort company establishing the head office in the city runs it.
It had been got close by a name of "Mitsui Greenland" for a long time, but was changed a name of on July 21, 2007 by Mitsui Mining not having been a parent company.

The attraction of 89 models includes domestic highest possible Ferris wheel "rainbow" (105m in height) in total and boasts of the number of the best attractions in Japan. Greenland resort is run.
I establish it as Mitsui Miike development Co., Ltd. that is a subsidiary of Mitsui Mining which I hold Mitsui Miike coal mine in Arao-shi and adjacent Omuta-shi, Fukuoka in 1964 and ran. It is merged in 1976 by Mitsui Kozan Tochi Tatemono Co., Ltd. A company is established in form to become independent newly again afterwards as Greenland Co., Ltd. in 1980 by Mitsui Kozan Tochi Tatemono. Mitsui Mining becomes the direct parent company in 1987 and, in 1990, changes a company name of it to Mitsui Greenland Co., Ltd.
However, with Mitsui Mining transferring stocks of Mitsui Greenland to Saibu Gas in 2005, and the company having become the parent company, I switched to the existing company name on July 1, 2006.

The facilities that ever existed
