Walter Heitler, 1937

Walter high Toller (Walter Heinrich Heitler, from January 2, 1904 to November 15, 1981) is a German physicist. Jewish。

I was born in Karlsruhe and learned in Berlin University and Munich University and received teaching of Arnold Sommerfeld and studied it in Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Gottingen.

I announced the method (atomic value structure theory) of high tola - London about the cohesion of Fritz London and hydrogen molecules in 1927. This theory develops into an atomic value binding method (the valence bond, VB method) by Linus polling and others with John Slater afterwards.

I became Gottingen tutor in 1929 and visited the UK against the Nazi Administration, and I studied it from 1941 through 1949 in Dublin of Ireland, and it was a professor of the Zurich University in 1949.

I left achievements in the field of the cosmic rays including the formula of Bethe = high tola about Hans Bethe and the radiation.
