Brief career history
I am born in Detroit. After having learned from Cornell University, I acquired a doctorate of physics, the astrophysics in Colorado University Borda school in 1968. For the next three years, I worked for Wilson Yamaten writing desk and Paloma astronomical observatory as a fellow of California Institute of Technology, but I threw it on a study of the history of science in 1971 and learned history of science in University of California, Berkeley history subject [1].
I tell the scientific history in Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, and there is many books, 編書 mainly on the modern scientific history.
Main writing
Nuclear Fear (1988) clarifies many documents such as not only the document of the military and the government but also movie, comics or an ex-bestseller for the cause historically whether American people had an image of what kind of psychological fear for the crisis of the nuclear war [2].
After analyzing the history of the fight in the democratic system in Never at War (1998), and having classified democratic systems closely, war insists on what have been prevented without exception at the democratic republican national interval [3].
An opinion that greenhouse gas is a cause of the global warming is received to a scientist by a cuttlefish, and (The Discovery of Global Warming, 2003) clarifies whether the crisis has been recognized "what is 〈 discovery 〉 of the warming?". In the 19th century, it begins in the discovery of the greenhouse effect about the atmospheric temperature by John Tyndall and analyzes the evidence that has been piled up through various studies such as geologic data of the 1950s, the recent computer simulation from a wide historic viewpoint [4].
