Spenser R Wirt (British: in Spencer R. Weart, 1942 -) is a scientific historiographer of the United States of America. I acted as the center head until retirement from 1974 through 2009 in history of physics center of the American physics association (AIP) (Center for History of Physics). Brief career history

I am born in Detroit. After having learned from Cornell University, I acquired a doctorate of physics, the astrophysics in Colorado University Borda school in 1968. For the next three years, I worked for Wilson Yamaten writing desk and Paloma astronomical observatory as a fellow of California Institute of Technology, but I threw it on a study of the history of science in 1971 and learned history of science in University of California, Berkeley history subject [¹].

I tell the scientific history in Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, and there is many books, 編書 mainly on the modern scientific history.

Main writing

Nuclear Fear (1988) clarifies many documents such as not only the document of the military and the government but also movie, comics or an ex-bestseller for the cause historically whether American people had an image of what kind of psychological fear for the crisis of the nuclear war [²].
