ヴァーフ river (German: Waag, [1] Hungarian: Vág;[2][3] Polish: Wag[4] Slovak: Váh) is the Slovak longest river.

Summary
It is on the left bank side of the Danube and has length of 406km when I include the black ヴァーフ river (Čierny Váh) of the branch. There are two main branches and is white ヴァーフ river (Biely Váh) which assumes the high Tatra Mountains () the origin and the black ヴァーフ river which assumes the low Tatra Mountains () the origin (Čierny Váh). The river flows through north and west Slovakia and joins the Danube in コマールノ.
A canal and a dam (black ヴァーフ river water power dam ) are installed in the river, and there are 16 hydroelectric power stations which run after World War II from the 1930s, and were made.
The railroad linking D1 line () and Bratislava - diRina - Kosice of the expressway is made along ヴァーフ river.
