The nu museum of contemporary art (New Museum of Contemporary Art) is the art museum where is specialized in contemporary art in the United States of America New York City Manhattan ward ロウアー East Side.
History
I was opened by Marsha Tucker (Marcia Tucker) in 1977. I used the space of Graduate Centre (65 Fifth Avenue) of the news cool university at first. I moved to Astor Building (583 Broadway) of Soho in 1983. I leased an interval, the first floor of the Chelsea art museum for 2001 through 1. I received contribution of 20 million dollars including contribution from Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg from New York Carnegie Corporation in 2005 [1].
I moved to Bowery district prince street of Manhattan in December, 2007 and was opened again. The new building was designed with Japanese architect, Kazuyo Sejima, Ryue Nishizawa (SANAA) by gene slur (Gensler), and exhibit space was greatly expanded.
I often display the work of the relatively nameless artist and the experimental, innovative work.
