The Minamisoma county was incorporated into Higashikatsushika-gun in 1897, and Kazahaya-mura became the village of Higashikatsushika-gun. In 1955, Kazahaya-mura and Tega-mura merge, and Lake Higashikatsushika-gun south village is formed. In 1956, some marsh south villages were admitted into Matsudo-shi according to the said article. In addition, the marsh south village enforces town organization in 1964 and becomes Numaminamimachi and I am admitted into Kashiwa-shi in 2005 and become extinct.

Current administrative place name
