The lightweight overuse road helicopter that the Soviet Union produced Mi-3 (Russian :Ми-3). Originally it is the name of the helicopter for large size, weight based on Mi-2 designed under cooperation of Poland and the Soviet Union in the 1960s. In addition, Mi-2 is replaced with Mi-4 from 1971. The plan did not progress more than a design stage. Because this cooperation had a problem, Poland decided to produce complete new helicopters originally, and W-3 was designed.
