Summary

I change the course to the east when I leave Inuyama Station of the starting point and go to Tomiokamae Station. There is Inuyama inspection ground between Inuyama Station - Tomiokamae Station, and a lot of forwarding trains are run, too. After having parted from a railroad siding (yard handling of Inuyama Station) to the Inuyama inspection ground, I run in the countryside to the neighborhood of Zenjino Station. I run in a forest in the neighborhood of prefectural border and pass through the love Funato tunnel on the way. It is from Shin-Kani Station and to the east and runs in along Kanigawa in the inside where a city area and a residential area spread through in Kani-shi along the line. The train to communicate directly performed switchback of Shin-Kani Station and to the west and east once at the station. In addition, as for the through train from the Nagoya area, in the Inuyama Station - Shin-Kani Station interval, other routes and lines are reversed to perform switchback in wiring at Inuyama Station (the first car turns to the descent).

Yaotsu Line diverged before from Akechi Station on the way, but, in the line, it is in an abolished line in (2001) in 2001.

A trial run of lightness diesel train "LE-Car" made in Fuji Heavy Industries was performed with Yaotsu Line in our line in (1984) in 1984, and Meitetsu adopted this for idle hours section rationalization, and some trains between Shin-Kani Station - Mitake Station were made a diesel train with キハ 10 form in Yaotsu line, the next year in the same year. It was finished in (1995) in 1995 changed in キハ 30 form, and, as for the service of the diesel train between Akechi Station - Mitake Station, the service of the diesel train was not performed after the Yaotsu line abolition at the Shin-Kani Station - Akechi Station interval by キハ 10 form either.

In addition, it is an unmanned station except Inuyama Station, Nishi-Kani Station, Shin-Kani Station.

History

Hiromi Line varies in constitution after Shin-Kani Station. The west started a business by Nagoya Railroad (the first generation), but the east side started a business as a light railway of 762mm between the gauge by Tono Tetsudo (different from the company of the same name of the establishment for 1,944 years).

I extend between Hiromi Station (but, current Kani Station, places are different) - Mitake Station (current Mitakeguchi Station) in 1920, and Tono Tetsudo which let you practice medicine between new Tajimi Station - Hiromi stations in 1918 opens it. New Tajimi Station - Hiromi Station interval was nationalized later and became Taita Line, and, in the interval, the east beauty railroad of the new company succeeded Hiromi Station - Mitake Station. It is about 1943 that it became the route of Nagoya Railroad.

For the decrease of the user and cost reduction by the introduction of the station central control system, Gakkomae Station was abolished on January 29, 2005.

Issue of continuation

I show the possibility that Meitetsu abolishes between Shinkani - Mitake in 2007, and I sound out future directionality and thought, and a trend attracts attention of Kani-shi and Mitake-cho of the local government along the line [1]. In addition, it was announced formally on March 27, 2008 that I did not introduce an SF card system into this section station. It was fixed at 3 local governments of Kani-shi, Mitake-cho, Yaotsu-cho making up for a deficit for three years from 2010 afterwards. The amount of filling is 300 million yen in total in three years. In February, 2013, it is decided that Kani-shi and Mitake-cho make up for a deficit sequentially for three years.

An experiment to make half price was time-limited, and the periodical fare of this section was performed in November from October, 2010, but was not able to raise results that there were few switch visitors from a car to a train, and were good [2].

Service form

The service form is divided after Shinkani by two following sections.

between Inuyama Station - Shin-Kani Station

Limited express train (2200 system) across Kanigawa

It only usually travels in the daytime in time. I can introduce it to six cars to Shin-Kani Station. The train running by six cars by a semi-express starting from Chubu-Kokusai-Airport Station introduces it with four to Hiromi Line basically to separate two cars of the Meitetsu-Gifu Station gathering at Inuyama Station. But some trains are run by six formation of the series of 6000 at the time of the revision in the time of after the daytime only for weekdays in December, 2008. In addition, in this case two formation is performed a connection [explanatory note 2] of by Toyohashi Station, Chubu-Kokusai-Airport Station one (in our line Shin-Kani Station), and it is not performed separating it at Inuyama Station. At the time of a rush, the local train (lapel in the line) becomes four formation in the morning on the evening, a holiday, too. As for all the way stations of this section, it is in relative expression home two 2 line, and Platform 1, Inuyama area going are Platform 2 Shinkani area going. The time required between Inuyama Station - Shin-Kani Station is approximately 20 minutes; by the difference in train classification make a little difference.

In the time schedule revision of December 27, 2008, the normal Shinkani going from Inuyama using the 2200 system (including the 1700 system) was set only to one of them as chance service of the limited express in morning on a holiday, too. This treated the thing which traveled as a forwarding train conventionally to Shin-Kani Station like a visitor. This is the first chance use of the vehicle for the partly special car limited express by Hiromi Line.

μSky, limited express

I go up the limited express (2200 system or six 1700 system) of the special car with μSky (four 2000 system) of all cars special car communicating Inuyama Line directly partly on both directions, holiday on weekdays in morning, and only the Inuyama area operates Shinkani going all day in the evening (μSky drives to Central Japan International Airport one in flat Japan and North Korea in morning on three of them, a holiday and runs Shinunuma going and 〉 which puts it together, and is constipated four weekdays to 〈 Inuyama for Shinkani on five, a holiday every one hour in the evening, and the limited express runs upbound Toyohashi going three in morning on a holiday). Part of high speed limited express, limited express running through Hiromi Line from December 27, 2008 becomes the special car (I hit it, and two add it at Inuyama Station, and it is eight 1200 system or six 2200 system). The working of a high speed limited express and the flat Japan-North Korea limited express is gone after time schedule revision of March 26, 2011 and is run extra one of them μSky (I connect it with a train from Shin-Unuma Station at Inuyama Station) for Central Japan International Airport from Shin-Kani Station in the time.

I communicated it directly to Mitake Station and 800 Tsu Station (the 2001 abolition) until the end of Showa, and a nickname called "Japan line" was touched on the train using the white belt car (special car as of はくたいしゃ =) pro-7000 to 800 Tsu Station through trains a nickname called Lake Sosui once. Some trains gave their name until 1999 when 7000 system withdrew from limited express use even after coming to go only as far as Shinkani. When Nishi-Kani Station was the access station of the little world, there was the nickname train called "little world", too.
(only as for the temporary limited express diamond for New Year holidays) or all cars special car limited express (I add the train from the Shinunuma area nearer Gifu in Inuyama and run only one until revision in flat Japan and North Korea in 2005) for Toyokawainari by high speed and 1000 system or the 1600 system to Kokufu by the 1600 system were run once, too.

It stops at each station with μSky, the limited express from Nishi-Kani Station via Tomiokamae Station and Zenjino Station (I passed Kanigawa Station until 2003, and Nishi-Kani Station passed more until 1983, too). In addition, the seat of the car puts the up-trains together to one of Inuyama Line, Nagoya Main Line in particular and is set to line reverse.

μSky to Shinkani from Meitetsu Gifu may be driven at the time of the events such as summer Nagara River fireworks displays temporarily (not driven after 2012). It is the rare limited express which does not go along Nagoya. The stop in Hiromi Line is the same as a periodical limited express and is driven by four cars of the 2000 system. It was run by four cars of the 7000 system white belt car and 1000 system by all cars special car (until 1999 all car reserved seats) limited express until 2008. In addition, on August 30, 2008, limited express "Japan line" revived as a special train with the 7000 system cause white belt car and, as part of the expression of gratitude event of the 7000 system panorama car that a retirement was decided on, was run.

Normal

As for the local train, it is operated four of them an hour in the daytime. Two of them of them communicate it directly via Inuyama Line with the Nagoya area (classification almost changes at Inuyama Station). A train between Shin-Kani Station - Chubu-Kokusai-Airport Station communicating Tokoname Line, Airport Line directly is operated every 30 minutes (a semi-express connects it to Mitake going in Shinkani from Inuyama). There was a train departing from and arriving at Toyohashi Station in substitution for Tokoname Line direct communication before revision in the evening in March, 2000 (an express, a part stop at Sako Station from Inuyama Station). As for the Nagoya Main Line Toyohashi area through train, (from Inuyama from express, Higashiokazaki a semi-express) for Ina and (common from express, Shinanjo from Inuyama) for Kirayoshida and (it stops at express, Yahagibashi from Inuyama from Higashiokazaki a semi-express) for Kokufu run limited express Toyohashi going three of them mentioned above as of the time schedule revision of March, 2011 in for each one of them and to Narumi two of them (I hurry from Inuyama), the morning on a holiday in morning on weekdays. At the time of the flat Japan and North Korea rush, there are six trains that to match it with a train from Meitetsu-Gifu Station at Inuyama Station, and a train from Shin-Kani Station is constipated and runs with eight from Inuyama (but a train running by eight cars to the terminal is only two of them for Narumi, and, as for other trains, train) from backward vehicle (Meitetsu-Gifu Station becomes the different destination in a way station). In addition, only as for one, to Shinkani is driven from Nishio Station in morning on weekdays (in the Shin-Anjo Station - Inuyama Station interval, I hurry by a semi-express to Shin-Anjo Station). As for to Shinkani of the flat Japan and North Korea rush, most become from Inuyama Station on the timetable, but, as for some trains, Nagoya, Shinkani close two cars or four are separated by a train going only as far as Inuyama and the through train to the Meitetsu Gifu area and are traveled.

In addition, I operate two an hour trains of the conclusion in this section (there is no connection to to Mitake, and there are many two cars by the 1800 system .3100 system .3150 system, but there is the use with 6000 pro-autocrat remodeling cars at Shin-Kani Station, too). This train connects to μSky, an express departing from and arriving at Shin-Unuma Station at Inuyama Station. In addition, some trains change train number and are operated the deferred head to Meitetsu-Gifu Station or Higashi-Okazaki Station. In addition, in a timetable, the train which communicated Kakamigahara Line directly became only one of them (I hurry from Meitetsu Gifu to Inuyama) for Shinkani from morning Meitetsu Gifu after revision of March, 2011.

Tokoname Station (as for Airport Line non-opening of business) - Mitake Station interval (it goes only as far as some Shin-Kani Station or Akechi Station and hurries from Inuyama), Inuyama Station - Shin-Kani Station interval (it connects to an express between Gifu area - Kowa Station, Utsumi Station at Inuyama Station.for Mitake) ran on the standard diamond before the time schedule revision for each two of them an hour in 2003. In addition, as for by two of them an hour, Inuyama Station - Shin-Kani Station interval (it connects to a semi-express between Gifu area - Central Japan International Airport or an express, a semi-express between Gifu area - Kowa Station, Utsumi Station in Inuyama) and (I hurry before time schedule revision to Inuyama Station Mitake going in the evening on weekdays on June 29, 2008) for Shinkani from Central Japan International Airport and (only as for the evening on weekdays, I go to Central Japan International Airport from Mitake before time schedule revision on June 29, 2008.from Inuyama Station as for the Kowa going and the inland sea going as for express, the Central Japan International Airport going a semi-express) for Kowa (inland sea) from Shinkani ran with the standard diamond before the time schedule revision after time schedule revision in - December, 2008 in 2003.

Past classification

Express

It was abolished in time schedule revision of March 26, 2011, and the train only for the general car which passed in Hiromi Line, and ran disappeared.

The express communicated Inuyama Line, Kakamigahara Line directly and was driven between Meitetsu-Gifu Station - Shin-Kani Station. It was driving only for one for Shinkani of flat Japan and North Korea after the time schedule revision of December 27, 2008. It stopped at each station as well as μSky, a limited express from Nishi-Kani Station via Tomiokamae Station and Zenjino Station. Until revision of 2003 of the Inuyama Line Nagoya area, besides, communicated it directly as an express (in older days to 800 Tsu Station) to Mitake Station, and might change classification of it at Shin-Kani Station. The driving of Saturday, the holiday became extinct in time schedule revision of April 6, 1998 and after that became the driving only for weekdays. It was run several in the night on weekdays, and a part of the Nagoya area connected the express of (for some Gifu) for Inuyama from Shinkani using the 5000 system to a car limited express in particular at Inuyama Station during the period when it was very few for from June 29, 2008 to December 26, the same year.

between Shinkani - Mitake

Autocrat train (6000 system)

A name changes into this section with Tono Tetsudo → east beauty railroad → Meitetsu east beauty line → Hiromi Line several times. The exchange of the top and bottom train is possible by a single line since the opening of business only at Akechi Station. But although changed most of Nagoya area through trains which existed until June, 2008; the train of the chisel driving in the section at Mitake Station turn it down, and shorten time (approximately four minutes); collect it, and do not change it in the morning other than a rush (as for what is included in the use of this section only as for 1 formation in the daytime a reason).

A limited express and the express want to run in the Showa era, and (it stops only in Akechi Station) of the Fushimi Exit Station (present on the way with the both sides) is the driving only for local trains now. It is operated two of them an hour (I may run in four morning on weekdays) and is connected to Inuyama, the Nagoya area through train (except a part for Central Japan International Airport) in the daytime. The one-way fare is 300 yen without exchange at Akechi Station for approximately 11 minutes in the time required between Shin-Kani Station - Mitake Station.

In time schedule revision of June 29, 2008, the direct driving with Inuyama, the Nagoya area disappeared, and all trains became the shuttle service in the section daylong. The shuttle service in the section became basic, but the through train with Inuyama, the Nagoya area was left on (mainly weekdays) in morning and evening since the through train with the Nagoya area was largely reduced in time schedule revision of March 27, 2003 (most trains were four to Tokoname before it daylong except the time when a rail bus ran at the daytime).
