Kochi Station (Chie comes in this way) is a Shikoku Railway Co. (Shikoku Railway Company) Dosan Line station at 2, Sakaedacho, Kouchi-shi, Kochi. The comment of the station guidance panel "a station of Sunday City when Ryoma and a good point are thick." The station number is D45, K00. The Dosan Line station number is divided into D (Awaikeda, Kotohira, the Tadotsu area) and K (the Susaki area) in the starting point at Kochi Station.
Other than a train of Dosan Line, the train of the Tosa Kuroshio Current railroad Asa line (a nickname: noodles, なはり line) running in it from Gomen Station arrives and departs at our station.

The existing station building was completed (2008) on February 26 in 2008 in the third generation [1]. The new station building home of the Hiroshi Naito design becomes the arch-formed roof made with local cedar. As for the nickname, the size uses a titanium zinc alloy outside "a whale dome" to have a problem with 60.9m, the north and south in maintenance only with a cedar at 38.5m, 23.3m in height in the East-West areas in parallel with a track [2]. As for the limited express train, an up and down line performs use [2] of the Platform 1 (partly Platform 2) facing the home with the stand. It is set up in form to cross in a right angle in Kochi station building of JR. A train of Sanbashi Line and the train to the Ino Line prefectural office front surface ride the wiring in pectinated form home three 2 line [note 6].

Use situation
The daily mean vehicle ridership of 2015 of Shikoku Railway Company was 5,291 people. There is the most it at the station in Kochi, and the fourth has many these in Shikoku Railway Company.

Around station
There is a bus terminal on the north exit east side, and an airport communication bus or an express bus arrive and depart.

- They connected the former station building (the second generation) completed in 3 lines in (1970) in 1970 to the Platform 1 in two ^ ground Station times, and both homes were general district Station of Japan National Railways bound together by a bridge.
