Bridge of the Showa era

The bridge where the bridge (しょうわばし) of the Showa era is built over the Chikuma River of Nagano. It links town Kamigomyo to Sakaki, Sakaki-machi, Hanishina-gun.

It is the land bridge which did finished steel reinforced concrete structure mainly in 1937 (12, Showa) years. I am chosen as [1], 選奨土木遺産 in 2002 as prewar one in the RC rose figure existing under Nagano that Takeshi Nakajima engineer designed of the 5 bridges by Japan Society of Civil Engineering.
