武茂村 (むもむら) is the village which belonged to eastern part, Nasu-gun of Tochigi.
Geography
- A river: The Naka River, 武茂川, Kuna River, Shiroma River
History
- Pine Nomura, three Kawamata villages, Kitamukada-mura, Kunase-mura, Higashitoyama village merge by the municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889, and 那須郡西武茂村 (I let you be similar an irregularity) is established.
- 日西武茂村 renames it (1895) on April 28 in 1895 and becomes 武茂村.
- It merges with Batomachi, large Uchimura, Oyamada-mura (1954) on July 1 in 1954 and founds Batomachi.
