ルビャンカ (Russian: Лубянка, English: Lubyanka) is a yellow brick big building in the Soviet Union Committee for State Security (KGB) headquarters and the ルビャンカ open space (Russian version) of Moscow used as a prison of the KGB jurisdiction in the current Russian Federation National Security Board (FSB) headquarters Government building, past. Because there is (ru) (the world of the child), department store "ジェーツキーミール" of the product for children may be called it by the secret language "neighbor of ジェーツキーミール" near the headquarters.

Summary

ルビャンカ which is redecorated in 1983. The left half is low.

Alexander Ivanov designs it in 1897, and Aleksei シューセフ enlarges a building from 1940 through 1947.

Originally the building of this neo-baroque was built as the head office of all Russian insurance companies in 1898 and was famous in the floor of the beautiful parquet and a light green wall. The depth was denied, and this huge building avoided a solemn impression. I avoided the thing such as the extremely detailed gabled roof and center open corridor of the size to overwhelm para-Dio style and the corner of the corner characterizing the baroque architecture and was said to be it to repeat the classicism-like front entrance, and to avoid it. The front emphasized the horizon by three bellows-formed bunches. The clock was installed in the center and became one of the compositions of the front entrance.

By the Russian Revolution, ルビャンカ was requisitioned by the government to use it as the Tcheka headquarters. Because I could see far-off Siberia even from the basement of the building by the joke under the Soviet Union system of Russia, it was said that ルビャンカ was the building which was high most in Moscow. Period, ルビャンカ where a great purge was carried out became tighter and tighter for the staff increase of the domestic affairs of states commissar part.

In 1940, most famous architect シチュセフ gained hierarchies in the Soviet Union and demolished neighboring buildings and was depended to double size of ルビャンカ. The design of シチュセフ emphasized a new Renaissance style. However, only the left front was enlarged by other problems with war having broken out in the 1940s. Without the state of these right and left asymmetry having changed so that Yuri Andropov did it in a symmetric state in design plan of シチュセフ in 1983 until I suggested it.

Though the name of the organization which had jurisdiction over secret police of the Soviet Union and a foreign plot report department was changed without several degrees, the headquarters remained much this building. It was the form overlooking the image of founder of Tcheka, Felix Dzerzhinski from the ラヴレンチー Berri-ya of the Director General of this organization to Yuri Andropov on the third floor of this building.

I thought that I excelled, and Alexander Solzhenitsyn expressed the state of the ルビャンカ camp as for the prisoner of the basement of ルビャンカ in a writing "camp group of islands". The famous convict was detained and I was tortured and was questioned. Sydney Riley or Raul ワレンバーグ were included in them, too. Defendants of the Moscow trial are executed in an execution ground of ルビャンカ.

After dissolution of KGB, ルビャンカ became the Russian Federation National Security Board (FSB) headquarters later and added it, and KGB Museum was released on the public. A fire occurred in ルビャンカ on November 11, 1999. Four staff of FSB suffered an injury, but the injury was relatively light. I understood that the fire was a defect of the electric wiring later as a result of investigation.
