Walter ブラウンフェルス
Walter ブラウンフェルス (Walter Braunfels, December 19, 1882 – ) is a German composer, pianist on March 19, 1954. I am from Frankfurt. Father was famous as a literary person, a translator, and, as for mother, a grandfather (or a great uncle) was Louis シュポーア.
I learned composition from Felix モットル with a piano in Munich in レシェティツキー in Vienna.
I am chosen as the member of the Prussia art academy in 1923. I was invited by cairn mayor Konrad Adenauer at the time and I ran cairn College of Music with leader, Hermann Abendroth from 1925 and acted as the president, but when the Nazis took the government, I was ousted from the public office in April, 1933 because it was "a quarter Jew", and the situation that could not stage a work continued. I returned to the public office depending on an appeal of Adenauer in postwar period and made an effort for the rebuilding of German music circles and the music educational front. There are many works in conjunction with the Catholicism.
