The urgent breaking news email (きんきゅうそくほう email) is service for the Earthquake Early Warning and tsunami warning, smartphone (there is part of model excluding it) of KDDI/ Okinawa Cellular Telephone which can receive a disaster, the refuge information that local public entity sends it to which the Meteorological Agency delivers and some EZweb support models. As for the user of the cell-phone, a communication fee, information charges are free together. I start delivery on March 30, 2012.

Summary

The area that can receive the Earthquake Early Warning is the whole country. I can receive it in the whole area in Japan if in the area including the coastal area targeted for the tsunami warning (massive tsunami, tsunami). When I am in the target area, it may become only the indication on the screen without a warning sound rumbling. In addition, the re-reception when during the communication or an electric wave did not arrive is impossible.

Delivery method

• An abbreviated designation of BC-SMS method - Broadcast SMS. I adopt it in CDMA 1X WIN area.

• I can use it after update to iOS6 only for iPhone series - iPhone 4S after iPhone 4S (when I do not update it, only the Earthquake Early Warning supports).
• I contribute it on smartphone - principles more than Android2.2, "au anti-disaster measures" application (there is the case that the Earthquake Early Warning becomes the other application by a terminal). But I may need update of terminal in itself.
