Saitama normal school (さいたましはんがっこう) is the normal school which became one of the forerunners of 新制埼玉大学教育学部.

Saitama normal school
  • 1873： Former Saitama starts a teacher training at the school revision station (former Urawa hotel Honjin).
  • June, 1874: Saitama normal school setting permission. のち Saitama elementary school of old China normal school and the changing of a name.

Former Saitama normal school

  • August, 1876: By the abolition of the Kumagaya prefecture, prefecture former Iruma prefecture area merges with Saitama. Existing Saitama is established.
  • 1878： Inari, Urawa round (the existing Saitama Hall location) school building new construction.

Saitama ordinary normal school

  • October, 1886: It is renamed to Saitama ordinary normal school by instructor laws of education.

    • A girl part is set up a boy part in the former Saitama normal school by the former Saitama girl normal school.
  • May, 1949: I am contained as 新制埼玉大学発足, Saitama University Saitama normal school.

The Saitama school in the source revision station used former Urawa hotel Honjin (existing Nakacho, Urawa-ku, Saitama-shi). In 1874, the Saitama normal school builds school building "鳳翔閣" after a start in bank village (existing Kishicho, Urawa-ku, Saitama-shi) in 1878 (existing Takasago, Urawa-ku, Saitama-shi, the Saitama Hall location). I moved to Urawacho sea bream ヶ 窪 (existing 6, Tokiwa, Urawa-ku, Saitama-shi) in 1901, and 鳳翔閣 was succeeded in Saitama girl normal school, the Saitama girls' high school of the start in the same year. The Tokiwa school building was succeeded in the government establishment Saitama normal school boy part of the establishment in 1943 and, in 1949, was succeeded more in the Saitama University Department of Education of the reincarnation. After a move, the unification to the Okubo district of Saitama University of 1966, Urawa-shi government office (the existing Saitama City Hall and Urawa-ku government office) or the TV Saitama head office were built in the former Tokiwa premises of a school.

Saitama normal school girl part

The Saitama girl normal school of the forerunner succeeded the old school building (鳳翔閣) of the Saitama normal school and started. A move new in 1924 in six Tsujimura Bessho (existing Bessyo, Minami-ku, Saitama-shi) in a school building. The government establishment Saitama normal school girl part of 1943 started in the Bessho premises of a school and was succeeded in the Saitama University Department of Education of the reincarnation. A junior high school attached to the Saitama University Department of Education uses the former Bessho premises of a school now.

「鳳翔閣」

鳳翔閣 (the 1878 completion) which Saitama normal school and Saitama girl normal school used was transferred for Saitama Hall construction to the north in 1925 after the Bessho move of the girl instructor, and I was used as a Saitama Prefectural library, but I was dismantled in 1959 by deterioration.
