Career

In 1965, I belonged to the affiliation with Chicago White Sox and played in Florida rookie league (existing gulf coast league) and Florida インストラクショナル league [1]. Of these, I participate in 45 games in the Florida rookie league and record 19 runs batted in to become the team most [2]. This age had more game participation numbers as the outfielder than catcher [1].

In 1966, I give rank from the last year and participate in 74 games in class A of the minor league [1]. The results were 215 at bats of 42 hits, batting average .195, 1 home run, 15 runs batted in [1]. I got defense of the outfield by 39 games while I participated in 26 games as catcher like 1965 [1].

I was registered at Lynch Bergh White Sox which joined the northern part of calorina league district in 1967 and participated in 94 games as original catcher of the teams [1]. In addition to batting average .262, 6 home runs, 36 runs batted in, I recorded 11 steals to become the team most [3].

In 1968, I played with Evans Bill White socks of the Southern League classified in Double-A [1]. I acted as original catcher and participated in 86 games and hit 9 home runs of the team most [4], but the batting average cut down on a number from .190 and the last year [1].

In lasting 1969, I reach the start in the Southern League as well as the last year and participate in 120 games as original catcher of Columbus White Sox [5]. I recorded batting average .245, 9 home runs, 40 runs batted in [1]. I was promoted to MLB without passing through triple A and, by a doubleheader second war with Seattle Pilots (existing Milwaukee Bulwer's) performed on September 8, I was appointed as a pinch hitter in the top of the ninth inning of four points of behind (fried food short as for the result) and carried out [6], a measure debut afterwards [7].

After that I recorded the first hit in MLB by game with Oakland Athletics of September 13 and I participated in eight games including appointment three games in starting members by the end in a season [8], but was over for batting average .214, 0 home runs, results of one run batted in [7]. In addition, I played only catcher in MLB, and an opportunity about the outfield defense did not have it [7].

In 1970, the following day, I played the Tucson fatty tuna which belonged to the Pacific coast league of the triple A in 82 games, but a zipper blink man of the teammate protected the seat of the original catcher in this year [9], and the opportunities when Adams participated in a game as an outfielder increased [1]. If even a blow was before batting average .250, 5 home runs, 29 runs batted in and MLB promotion, it ended in the results of the standard at the same level and it was only for it and retired myself from the active play in this year [1].
