Origin

I am born between mother of father and the actress of the director in Germany, Munich. In 1981, I move to Vienna that was a hometown of father at the age of 6 years old and after that live in Vienna. I major in literature and philosophy in Vienna University. I make my debut as a writer in novel "Beerholms Vorstellung" in 1997 at school. I announce a novel, the essay to existence papers for wiping such as "south Germany newspaper" "frankfurter アルゲマイネ ツァイトゥング" while I wrestle to a graduation thesis about Kant. Long piece third product "Ich und Kaminski" of 2003 was translated into 26 languages and got international fame. The lecturer of Mainz University and the Gottingen University serves from 2001, too.

It lasted more than 100 weeks, and the long piece fourth product "surveying of the world" linked the name in a bestseller list since I was announced in Germany in the autumn of 2005, and it was the hit product which lined up in the Patrick Suskind "story of the perfume murder that there was" Gunter Grass "drum of the tin plate". A circulation of Germany to date is 1,200,000 copies and has been already translated for languages more than 40 in 2008. In the international ranking by "Trend Publishing" (the United States) announced in 2007, I hold down "Harry Potter" and "The Da Vinci Code" and am ranked the second place. The marrow cabbage man got Christ Prize, a large number of prizes including the D belt literary prize with this work.
