星溪園 (result Kei plays it) is a strolling garden in Kumagaya-shi, Saitama. I was maintained from the last years of Edo era to the Meiji era and was appointed in the natural beauty spot of Kumagaya-shi in (1954) in 1954 [2].

Summary
A strolling garden [3] which did a water source of Hoshikawa who drifted to the city around "the pond of the ball." I took the Keio era a year in (1868) in 1868 from (1865 through 1868), and the Takeis present head of a household who acted as Honjin of the Kumagaya hotel from generation to generation, 竹井澹如 would establish the annex around a pond and pushed forward maintenance as a garden [3].
Originally I was called "pond ノ bower", but 牧宗禅師 of Kyoto Daitoku-ji Temple which visited here early in the Showa era named "星溪" [2] and was named "星溪園" when I was transferred to Kumagaya-shi in (1950) for 25 years [1]. 星溪寮 which adopted sukiya style, a sound of boiling water in a teakettle hermitage, three buildings called 積翠閣, tree bamboo and an exquisite stone and an old tower are arranged in the garden [1].
Takei has central politics and friendship [4], and many celebrities want to come sightseeing including Akinori Empress Dowager, His Imperial Highness Prince Yasuhito Chichibunomiya, Shigenobu Okuma, Soho Tokutomi before the war [3]; [5].
A this you bower and the teahouse in the garden suffered damage to be destroyed by fire by Kumagaya air raid of August 15 (1945) in 1945, but 星溪寮, sound of boiling water in a teakettle hermitage, 積翠閣 were saved from destruction by fire [3]. The deterioration of the building advanced, but the restoration of the building and the maintenance in the garden were performed afterwards over (1990 through 1992) for four years from 1990 [2].
Pond of the ball
A bank (Hojo bank) collapses by a flood of Arakawa (1623) in September Genna nine years, and a spring comes to arise from the rip place; called "the pond of the ball" [3]. Is written down to "the forming anew Musashi topographical record article" edited late in the Edo era as follows; "the pond of the Ishigami temple precincts" equal to "the pond of the ball" [3].
Hoshikawa
