Commentary
Of the title truck "do not forget it"; the work which was written a new for NHK animated cartoon theater "excellent detective Poirot of Agatha(Miller) Christie and Marple" ending theme and opening theme by "a lucky girl saying was with a bouquet" of the coupling. I recorded it in album "SONORITE" [note 1] with both music later and was recorded in best album "OPUS - ALL TIME BEST 1975-2012 ..." [note 2] in all time of the release in 2012 without "forgetting it".
The canzone-like original piece of music "that Yamashita reason thought without "forgetting it" to certainly do it if over 50 years old." The tie-up request of the animated cartoon called the stage came, and U.K. of the 1930s was written a new just apropos at time saying "it is this!" [1]. Mariya Takeuchi deals with the words, but, according to Yamashita, "I had I show <spirit and said that it is for a man of>, and it is useless, and this rewrite it when I sing though there were the different lyrics, but does not like it too much, and herself should sing", and it is said with [1]. It was broadcasted by a radio program "sundae song book" of Yamashita several times, "do not forget it" that Takeuchi sang backed by an original karaoke by the home recording. In addition, Yamashita beats the drum, but answers it with [1] "do you go the way me want it to a little more when you do not still appear when it is the present digital environment though I want depth a little more and you wanted to do it, but stand in the three-dimensional impression like ダスティ Springfield in the 60s for another around three years?". Yamashita is sleeve notes of "OPUS" [note 2] and "it might be slightly gloomy melody for one's character, but wanted to sing in this way later while I appear with the of the voice" and writes it with [2].
To "a lucky girl beat a drum by oneself with a bouquet" at first, and is one overdub; such as the surfing & hot rod wanted to do it to feel it, but thought; the base is changed each by a synthesizer to drive the drum because did not look. Because Yamashita "can take a synthesizer bass below as much as there is much 重低音, a piano performs it in the distance, and the guitar of both ends sounds clearly, and because is a straight base whether is with> without balance improving, and therefore forgetting it <, some centers of gravity are light, there is not it in rock'n roll when look, and do not do it heavily; how to make pyramids of the sound image answers it with it is difficult" [1]. Following the fact that there was CM tie-up of Honda Life later, "SONORITE" was the coupling with a collecting music "white umbrella" [note 1] and, as for this music, was done single cut again [note 3].
