World dart フェデレイション

World dart フェデレイション (World Darts Federation [WDF], federation of world dart) is one of the dart groups. It becomes the member group of sports Accord now.

In 1976, I was organized by the representative from 14 countries. If it is the formula-like domestic unification group of darts in all countries, it is said that membership does not have the limit.

An official language is the English language, and the formal currency is the US dollar [1].

Main tournament

The tournament of WDF consists of the event that an arriving event and member of cup (cup) which WDF holds hold. The main thing is major sequentially, and these events are classified in 1, a category of two or three, and, as for the thing which is not important, any indication is not done by the category column in websites of WDF. In addition, a higher tournament may not be necessarily higher in the prize money than a lower thing [3].

Television transmission

There are fewer tournaments of current WDF broadcasted on TV than PDC judging from the whole WDF not to mention only in BDO.

However, in the U.K., the world championship may be broadcasted by the BBC which is of the ground wave and public broadcasting and acquires the number of the seeing and hearing more than a thing of the PDC. In addition, there are many years when the high rank contains even order [4] in a week in comparison with other programs of BBC Two.

As for before, many tournaments were broadcasted on TV unlike the present from 1989 [3]. The thing which the following thing finished exists now in this, but I receive cancellation of the television transmission, and there are a lot of things that tournament itself became the end. There is the thing that the television transmission of the tournament was finished because a player of the PDC did not participate among them.

Ranking

There is a ranking indicating the activity of the player in WDF. BDO is different from the thing of WDF having an original ranking system, too.

System

The ranking of WDF shows order by the current activity (I do not virtually decide who played an active part most every year). As for the object, the thing before it becomes the lapse for the past 12 months.

There are a tournament reflected by a ranking and the tournament that is not reflected for a tournament of WDF and, in the tournament reflected by a ranking, can win the points by the order. In the order that the total of this point is high in, a rank is decided.

It is a tournament to belong to a measure, one or two, 3 four categories to be able to win the points, and the point that I can acquire is different each. For example, I can win 180, 150, 120, 90 points each when I win the championship [7]. The tournament of measure and category 1 that are high in a point refers to # main tournament.
