The village where there was wild boar Takamura (I put on) in Aichi-gun, Aichi. Inokoishi-mura and a high company village merged in May, 1906 and became wild boar Takamura. The name of a village is the synthetic place name which I took by Inokoishi-mura and one character of the high company village. There were many reservoirs, and, as for the industry, sericulture and the cultivation of the leaf cigarette were carried out mainly on agriculture in those days for a hill country. It was admitted into Chikusa-ku, Nagoya-shi in 1955. Meito-ku and a part [1] become Chikusa-ku now.

- - Inokoishi-mura, Fujimori village, Inokoishihara-mura merges (1889) in 1889 and becomes Inokoishi-mura. High needle village, one village, Kamiyashiro-mura merges and becomes the high company village.
