The uniform of south seas Hawks of 1980 points at the vertical stripes uniform for the home which south seas Hawks (existing: Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks) adopted only to this age in 1980. It is the thing which director Yoshinori Hirose at the time devised to defeat the sluggish team situation, but the team is last after all.
