Background
Because Eric Clapton recommended a fellow to Atlantic record president アーメット Arty cancer when fellow and Wells acted as the opening act of the Europe tour of rolling stone in 1970, the recording of this product began [2]. After a tour of rolling stone, fellow and Wells began recording with Clapton, and Clapton was engaged in produce in cooperation with Arty cancer, Tom Dowd [1]. Clapton has a heroin-dependent problem, and the fellow tells, it "hardly said to memory that there is not it that Eric made this record to me in the future, and he at the time became always high" in those days [2]. In addition, as for Clapton, a guest participates in "Damn Right, I' ve Got the Blues" (1991) of the fellow, an album such as "Skin Deep" (2008) later [3].
The recording of 1970 was shelved once, but two pieces recorded in 1972 by fellow and J. Geils Band were added, and this product was completed [2]; [4]. In addition, the session of 1972 was carried out by Wells absence, and Michael Cuscuna produced it [1].
Evaluation
Bill Dahl posts 3.5 points in five points of perfect scores in all music and describes it as it saying "I reached the result splendid at all if I think about the production process of this album having had a problem" [4]. In addition, I describe the Robert Christ gaue as it saying "the trial that it is said to open audience of the blues is what kind of method so that an album close to the R & B that Wells produced with a blue lock () proves it and it is over for failure, but I succeed in at least this album musically and am relaxed like the work which Wells left for station wagon guard and Dell mark and am almost contents of in warmness and the orthodox school" [5].
In 2013, I was elected in one of "recording best 10 as the sideman of Eric Clapton" by Ted Drozdowski [3].
