Tateno, Ishikawa Stadium (いしかわけんりつやきゅうじょう) is a baseball field in the western green tract of land park of Kanazawa-shi, Ishikawa. Ishikawa owns the facilities, and I run it as a designated manager, and general Ishikawa citizen of the prefecture contact public corporation Foundation manages it.
Table of contents
History
Ishikawa industry pavilion was built in western part green tract of land Park where maintenance was pushed forward in the suburbs of Kanazawa-shi northwest in 1972, and "Sea of Japan exhibition" was held around this pavilion in 1973, the following day. The prefectural baseball field is completed in 1974 after the exhibition. In addition, the Kenroku-en Garden baseball field that there was in the city center until the last year managed by Ishikawa was closed down and was removed. A land sports stadium, tennis court were maintained afterward in the western green tract of land park.
Night game facilities were installed more in June, 1981. Six illumination towers are designed in imitation of 徽軫灯籠 (ことじどうろう) of Kenroku-en Garden, and the steel tower becomes the character of "X". A scoreboard was replaced in a magnetic inversion type in 1993.
Since the opening, I am used as the main meeting place of the National High School Baseball Championship pennant race in Ishikawa.
I was used as the main meeting place of the Ishikawa million Stars pennant race of the BC league from 2007, and all the postseason games including the grand champion ship were held in our baseball stadium, too. However, 2013 only for the district championship become held (Benkei Stadium of Komatsu-shi, the grand champion ship hold the league championship at Kanazawa citizen baseball field). After this Ishikawa all the postseason games of the home at the Kanazawa citizen baseball field become held, and, even as for the number of the pennant race games, Kanazawa citizen baseball field carries out the majority of all games in the late 2010s, and it is in the form that handed over the seat of the main holding baseball stadium to.
In addition, as for the pennant race, 2-3 games are held every year. Because there was Hokuriku Chunichi Shimbun affiliated with Chunichi Shimbunsha in the local newspaper, Chunichi Dragons held a sponsorship pennant race in 2 serieses with the Toyama citizen baseball stadium Alpen stadium as "the Hokuriku series", and Chiba Lotte Marines held a sponsorship pennant race under the cosponsorship with the northern country newspaper publisher until 2005. In addition, a sponsorship game of Yomiuri Giants was held since game with Yakult Swallows holding of June 9, 1993 after an interval of 15 years on August 6, 2008.
In addition, as for "Hokuriku series" (set of Toyama, Kanazawa) of the control game, the anti-game with the Pacific League group in the Nippon Life Insurance Co. interleague ball becomes often made on the middle day.
17,000 people and a seating capacity are small baseball stadium in itself, and in late years, as for the deterioration of facilities being seen more than 40 years old,, besides, the left and the right flanks being 91.5m and narrow-mindedness, there is often the case that I scramble, and it is for (confused fight) of the score in the remarkably professional game the obsolescence of facilities. Although the construction design of the new baseball stadium is often given in the prefecture, I run into difficulties in financial difficulties. In addition, in Kanazawa-shi, there is the Kanazawa citizen baseball field that a finished city owns in 1990, and this is a financial difficulty, and an enlargement design and the repair design are not realized currently although the stands are designed in the future to enlarge a building.
