A supremacy in knowledge and virtue three persons sanctuary (しせいさんしゃだいせいどう, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago) of Chicago is a sanctuary memorizing the supremacy in knowledge and virtue three persons of the American Greek Orthodox Church middle western district bishopric. One of the cathedrals where there are few numbers that one Lewis Sullivan of the architect who had the influence most in the 20th century dealt with.
It is made Saint distinction in 1903 and appoints it in a landmark architecture of Chicago in United States of America nation history registration fortune [2], 1979 in 1976 [3].

Construction
The plan of the Protestantism assembly hall was suggested in 1895, and construction work was carried out for a fund of Russian 聖務会院 [4]. The basic form including the Holy of Holies divided in nave, イコノスタシス of the pyramid roof to have a bell tower of the front, an octagonal dome by an inner sanctum follows the model of the temple of Confucius of the Greek Orthodox Church. The appearance is plain except decoration by some Sullivan like a temple of Confucius of the local Greek Orthodox Church, too. The inside leaves the hand of Sullivan and is decorated by the picture based on the fresco of the Saint ヴォロディームィル sanctuary of Kiev, circumference relationship of the money wealthily [5]. イコノスタシス was produced in Russia, and I was donated in 1912 by Chinese ambassador Charles crane (Charles R. Crane) of the United States of America at the time [5]. It is expressed without the characteristic of the cathedral which is common in the country of Russia and modern sensitivity of Sullivan disturbing the harmony, and the evaluation as the short piece of Sullivan is high [3].
The church was under the mental instruction of St. John of Chicago early. I am used as a bishop seat temple of Confucius of the American Greek Orthodox Church middle western district parish, and a job archbishop serves it. Archpriesthood John アダムキオ becomes rectorship. Everyday 奉神礼 performed by faith is performed at the church, and Greek Orthodox Church community of Chicago is a pride and a church doing it even today.
